How I choose my books tag

Lovely Jasmine from Jasmine’s Reading Blog tagged me to do the How I Choose My Books tag – thank you, again!

Q1

This book is just lovely. I always recommend it to people as a wonderful (pun intended) pick-me-up read.

Q2 a

It’s funny – this was an Amazon recommendation! They emailed me with a list of books coming out soon and this was one of them. I thought this book was OK – a big step away from Anna and the French Kiss…

q3

This was one of the biggest surprises for me last year. I picked this up on a whim in a bookshop and gave it a chance – and I loved it! I devoured this series in only a few days and fell in love with all of the characters.

Q4

This was a recommendation from a lovely bookseller in the Waterstones on Trafalgar Square. I really enjoyed it – so thank you!

Q5

This was mentioned only once and very briefly on Simon from Savidge Reads Youtube channel last summer, but the synopsis stuck with me. I finally read it a few weeks ago and had super mixed feelings about it – maybe I’ll do a full review?

q6

In general? The author. I LOVED A.G. Howard’s Splintered trilogy and wanted more from her. I read Roseblood last summer and really loved it – A.G. Howard never lets me down.

q7

I know! Crazy, right? I watched the movie a few years ago and actually really enjoyed the cringy plotline and questionable romances so I picked up a few of the books… I had to stop at book 2. I think I missed the boat on this one – I would have devoured this entire series when I was 14!

q8

I first read this series in January last year and subsequently re-read them in the summer. ACOMAF is one of my favourite books of all time – and the series is top 3 for me. Tbh I picked these up because of booktube – and I’m ever so grateful for that.

I tag all of my lovely readers to have a go at this tag – I can’t wait to see your answers. 🙂
