Obsidio book review

Well, goodness me. Where do I even start with this one? Firstly, let me say that there will be spoilers ahead so if you haven’t read Obsidio yet please don’t read this and be mad.

I BLOODY LOVED THIS!

This is an incredible ending to one of my favourite series ever. Every page, every sentence, every kiss and every character was so full of life. I was on the edge of my seat during the whole thing and was so terrified that they wouldn’t all make it to the end.

Behind all of the sassily written surveillance reports, hilarious private messages and brutal log books lies the concept of humanity and the beautiful stubbornness to survive. We join our favourite rag-tag group of friends Kady, Ezra, Hannah, Nik and Ella as they are joined by Asha and Rhys in the glorious conclusion to their fight against BeiTech. Not only do they kick-ass, they bring down the colossus that is BeiTech and wipe the floor with their leader Leanne Frobisher. Hurrah!

Now, the last 100 pages had me sobbing on the train – in front of strangers… I just couldn’t quite cope with how wonderfully it all turned out – and Aidan, oh sweet murderous Aidan I am ever so glad you survived.

“Live a life worth living for” – Kady Grant

All I can say is that this is an epic conclusion to a truly magnificent story. READ IT NOW!
