the “I love spring!” book tag

It’s that time again… time for another book tag. This one was originally created by Helene Jeppesen & Amanda Elise Carina so go and follow them if you don’t already. Even though I wasn’t technically tagged to do this…I’m doing it anyway!

1. How is Spring where you live?

Super rainy and mild actually, which is a nice change from the cold. But, over the last few days, we’ve had some beautifully sunny days here in London.

2. Most anticipated book release this Spring?

A Court of Frost and Starlight. Hands down. I can’t cope with my excitement.

3. Show us a book cover that makes you think of Spring.

Hmmmm. The first book that sprung to mind (did you see what I did there) is Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon. I mean look at that gorgeous cover. Much Spring.

4. What are you going to read this Spring?

You may have noticed that I don’t do TBR’s – and that’s because I don’t like planning my reading too much. I’m already tracking my reading so I prefer to just read what I fancy. I’m big on mood reading.

So long story short, I don’t know! Do TBR’s really help people read more?

5. Find a cover with the sun on it!

I found one! We Were Liars by E. Lockhart. It’s got a sun on it and it’s a brilliant book! *Winning*

6. What are your favorite Spring reads?

Like I say I don’t have official TBR’s so I also don’t read seasonally. However, it seems that Sarah J. Maas releases her books during the Springtime so I always have to reread them around April/May!

7. Find a book with many different colors on it.

Easy – Borne by Jeff Vandermeer. Specifically this edition. It’s gorgeous isn’t it? It’s also a fantastic book and I would recommend it if you’re in the mood for some bizarre sci-fi.

8. Whom do you tag?

I’ll tag everyone, why not!

So, happy Spring everyone. I hope you’re getting some much-needed sunshine and have some exciting upcoming reading plans!
