I saw lovely Lauren from Lauren and the Books start this series on her YouTube channel earlier in the year – she chats through 100 bookish conversation starters from the Lit Chat card pack. I think this is a brilliant idea – so I’m following along!

Here’s the impossible question: What’s your favourite book?
OK, fine. What’s your favourite genre?
This is actually quite easy for me! I find giving 5-star reviews quite difficult so if a book gets awarded one it’s quite a special thing. A book that gave me the book tingles almost from page 1 and consequently became one of my all-time favourites is A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas.
I know that many people find this book series problematic for a variety of reasons, but I love almost everything about it. It was the first time that I had read a book series and thought ‘OH MY GODDDDDDDD’ the whole way through and quite literally freaked out.
Continuing from this, my favourite genre would probably be YA fantasy or science fiction. I’ve also been dabbling in adult sci-fi this year and have been really enjoying it! I like reading about worlds that don’t exist – what can I say?
Yessssss I love that book too and I just saw the quote/subtitle on your blog and I was like YESSS THIS PERSON GETS ME ❤ ❤ ❤
